I think I want to get rid of my edge.
I have a husky (which is like home depot's version of lowes' kobalt). It is.... well...OK I guess. It does the job. It was 199.99, black full size box. I like the weather guard ones that all the guys at work have, but I just didn't have the money at the time. As little as I actually use mine, it does a good job.

As sharxs said if you don't race light to light everyday, you'll be fine. Expecially if you don't go over level 3. You'll be fine you baby

As for toolboxes go have you looked at transferflow. They have a Toolbox transfer tank combo, bit pricy though. Thinking of putting something along those lines in my truck. As for chip. If you break it running 3 setting and not hot rodding it everyday i'm going to be embarassed to own a cummins unles you got a lemon which I doubt. Whens your turbo kick in? Mine kicks in approx 1500 rpms. maybe a lil sooner. Doesn't get much power until 1650 or so really whines up at 1700. Hopefully your around there. I'm going to throw an aftermarket one in later on. If you don't do anything and you really have worry's on your turbo I'll sell you mine for a good deal if you are still looking.

Kg, I have no need for a transfer tank. I am going to see when my turbo kicks in and gather any other info I can think of and after I change my fuel filter I will report back and start a new thread to see if we can figure out what it is going on. Honestly I would never have thought anything was wrong if I hadnt owned damn near a copy of what I have now.
Hey Speakle, As for the tool box search ( Yeah, I know, this isn't about the Edge thread ), try checking out Tangi Industries. They are over in Hammond off the mall exit. They have tons of truck stuff, thats where I got my Transferflow tank. They don't have a web site, but here is their information--------------Tangi Industrial Sales LLC, 1000 Cypress St., Hammond, LA Tel. (985) 345-1760
No problem Speakle, New Orleans would be a bit of a delivery problem. don't even want to think about what shipping would be on one of these
I have the Kobalt series and it's been decent. It just doesn't look as good on my Ram as it did on my Ford that I originally bought it for. And since I now have storage under the rear seat instead of a flat floor, I don't need it as much for what little I carry on a regular basis.
I don't know if they still are, but at the time I bought mine (2003ish) Kobalt were manufactured by Better Built. I wouldn't necessarily consider it for a heavy commercial grade application, but for rattling around in my personal vehicle, it sure got the job done.

Thanks BigRiver, I need to get out to hammond to get my bedliner sprayed in soon. I am going to go look at lowes again next time I am in there to see the construction of the display boxes.
