Default I think I want to get rid of my edge.

Its a cool gadget and all but not sure I want it anymore. I spend most of my time in level 1 and anytime I go above that I am too scared I am going to break something to even feel much of a difference. I am a bit short on cash right now and really want some other things (toolbox, bedliner, front door speakers). I would have to spend the $200 or so on guages since I would miss them too much and I have the thermocouple installed already. I really just am scared that I am going to regret it..........what to do what to do..............

Relax...take a deep breath...O.k....your not going to break anything as long as your not flooring it everywhere you go,theres no need to go out of stage 3 except to show off, and your truck can take it...even in stage 5, as long as your not punching it from light to light you will be ok.

As sharxs said if you don't race light to light everyday, you'll be fine. Expecially if you don't go over level 3. You'll be fine you babylol

I guess one of the biggest thingsis this truck seems to have horrible turbo lag...I think. Keeping in mind I traded in an 06 on an 06 my other truck was much snappier off the line. It had the lag as well but this truck takes what seems like an eternity to get moving. I stomp the pedal, truck starts rolling and then finally rpms shoot up and I am off. I thought it was the missing cat and aftermarket muffler so I installed the aero, may have helped a tad with the low end, intalled my drop in airaid filter, no help. All of this has ideas in my head that my TC isnt working right....... Alright, I am going to keep it. I have been waiting to address the concern with you guys for a while but I figured I would exhaust all my options first. I still need to change the oil (I konw thats not it) and change the fuel filter (possibly??).

I appreciate the offer Methos but first I am in New Orleans and I am looking for a black low profile. Lowes can special order it for me for $288 which is super cheap but I also wonder why it is so cheap.

As far as tool boxes go, don't go cheap. In my first truck I went with a kobalt tool box and that didn't last long. I put a protech in afterward and boy what a difference. Definatly worth every penny more.

Lol, I was looking at a Kobalt from Lowes....there that goes. I wont use it a whole lot, I have a trailer with all my tools in it but have a jumppack/air compressor, various tie downs/bungees, and I like to keep an extra pair of clothes/shoes along with some essential road-side tools.I dont want a pos though. My first toolbox wasa plastic contico that someone gave to me when I got my first pickup. The keys were lost and the hinge pins were missing (dual lids). I got a new set of locks for free and stuck some brass rods in for hinge pins...that sunuvabitch lasted for over 6 years, only reason I stopped using it is because I sold the truck. I guess plastic is more forgiving than metal.
