I just bought a 07 QC 2500 CTD 6.7 and i am tossed up with lifting it 6" with 37's on 20'or 22'wheelsor just going with leveling kit with 35's on 20' wheels. So I was wondering if anybody had any pictures they would like to share or opionson what they think would be better. I had a 05' QC with a fabtech 6" lift and loved it.
you'll never get 37's on 22's under a 6" lift. My 37's on 20's had a bit of rub so, 2 more inches of wheel will really rub. You may need to go 8" if you want 22's.
I don't know that is does but, a 37" tire has to have so much sidewall and just because you go to 22's doesn't mean to profile is lower. Plus, if the backspacing isn't right they'll really rub !
a better shot for you.... if you happen to have or are getting a SRT hood, I have one of those inserts left to sell. I had 5 of them custom made out of the same material as the grill.
I think that the sidewall would have to be lower if they still want to call it a 37. You do have to watch the backspacing though, out to far and it will swing into the body, if hey are in to far they will rub the 4 link.
I noticed the x-terrain's on your truck too... nice!! My brother-n-law is trying to sell his 35x12.50/17's on moto metal 951's if any body is interested... hint, hint.
