I believe parking brake is a drum brake inside your brake caliper on the rear. Doesn't affect your discs at all.
thats it

So it's safe to say if you're having to tighten down on the cable adjuster a lot, then the parking brake pads are probably worn? Guess it's time to pull the rotors and take a look.[:@]

How do they wear, you say? It's kinda hard to notice when the parking brake is on sometimes with the cummins. [sm=icon_rofl.gif]

your rear disks are a two section disk. you have the outer section for the disk, then you have an inner drum milled into the piece.

you need to jack up the back end and make sure you didnt over adjust the brake. just turn each wheel by hand, you shouldnt hear any metal to metal rubbing.
