on the way home from work my ac went out! my truck is a 06 with 19500 miles. WTF?????? IT WILL not come on unless on high and after 30 seconds it quits. i will be at the stealer before the techs get there.

 

either low on freon and the evaporator is freezing over, or the blend door is busted.

 

i hope its that simple

 

The blend door is not really simple. The whole dash has to come out to fix it. But with that mileage it should be covered by warranty. Good luck.

my 93 has a/c malfunctions all the dang blastid time!!

fan shuts off, or slows down to ultra low.... have to rattle the fuse block to turn on the blower (go a head guys, take it away )....

Im even in hell...um... I mean Phoenix!!!

Sounds like the crappy vent door mentioned above. We just took our 06 in for the same reason, going to pick it up today actually.

 

how about the stealer told me it would be friday before they would have a spot open for my truck! that is 2 days in south louisiana without ac. even if i leave it it wouldnt get looked at. they even want to charge me for looking at my squeaky-spongy clutch! i am getting very mad.
