I have an 07 and looked in the wheel well and saw only one hole, maybe I need to look again?? is the B+W a good hitch or should I go with Reese or Draw Tight ?? anybody have any experience with these?? I have the B&W Hitch and it truly is bolt on the only hole you have to make is in the bed. I had my old mans hired hand put mine in one saturday while i was to hung over to do it and he had it in, in about 1.5 hrs

Both our 01's have B+W hitches with the turnover ball in them and I've never had trouble. But our dually they installed the day we bought it and my pickup was used by Dodge asa call hauler so it already had it installed. I'm guessing there are more holes or you use some of the bolts already in the frame you missed.

What about the holes for the brackets for the safety chains? Are these bolts removed?

How far ahead of the axle does the ball end up? I got a Flip Over ball put in my '02 Ram and they stuck it at least 4 inches ahead. This was way too much for a short bed truck (IMO). When I get one in my '05 I want it within 1 inches
