I need to buy a new set of skins this fall and would like to know if you guys can give me any advice. I would like a little more tread than the stock tires.

 

I think for my first set of tires I am going to give these Mickey Thompson BajaATZ's a try. [8D]

The BFG AT's are great tires....

 

I have the bfg at k'os and will be going with either pro-comp x terrains or pro comp xtreme all terrains.

 

I've got Timberlines MTsright now.
There pretty gippy, but ain't weanin very well.
I think the next set will be BFG Mudterrain KMs.

 

all the guys at the tire shop run the pro comp A/T or M/T..the owner runs X/T because he doesnt care about millage or sounds...

i like the cooper STTs alot..soft tread and never hear them!

 

pro comp xtreme at's... 47k miles on them and still going strong...

 

I'm going to have to buy 4 sets of tires! Holy crap I might give em all a try though. We're going to buy a 02 dodge 1/2 ton for my wife and it needs new tires so i'll probably through a leveling kit on it and then pro comps then I bought her little 99 sonoma some tires and then I'll see how I like the pro comps and compare against like BFG A/T or something along those lines for my cummins. Might have to run the stock michelins into winter for a while until I get enough money for tires for it. Might be interesting specially when it gets slick.
