Don't hate me but I am looking for some info on hub lockers for my old mans 2003 Chevy 2500 HD[:'(].
I saw some info here in a long ago post about some in the Dodge trucks but can't find it now.I am assuming they exist somewhere but I don't know where to look

Has anyone ever installed manual hubs on their Dodge? Is it a DIY project or something better left to the pro's? I have been thinking about them for my 05 2500 CTD as well to improve my fuel mileage

 

I had them put on my 1990 toyota I used to own. I watched the guy do it. was a pretty simple thing. sure you can diy.

 

Do they make them for the 07 1500/'s yet?

 

not sure will look, I was looking when I had my 06 1500. I did not find any.

 

that'll be probably something to do for my wife's truck. Anyone know how big of a project it would be to switch a 02 dodge 1/2 ton over to a solid front axle? We're taking over payments on my moms truck that she repossed from my brotherand I wanna lift it3-4 maybe 5inchesand such. I like solid front axle better than independant. Also I'd probably put locking front hubs and locking front and rear diff's since it's a shorbox would make more since to 4x4 in it than my long box cummins.
