I had a blast and was happy to see you guys make it!

the only thing that sucked was me loosing that filter ($85 bux)at the start of the trip... having a suspension comparison day today (sunday) I had to have a replacement so by the time I had it in hand and was home it was almost 10pm... long day.

yeah, i droped Jon off in reno after dinner and drove back home, got here right at 11pm, was a long day. Not thinking, I cleaned my k&n a week before the trip. I think it was good for the ol girl to get out and stretch her legs, she feels more peppy now, even with a dirty filter. i meant to ask you if at the start of the pavement, there were a few cars parked on the right side of the road, thats where we parked and hiked down to emerald pools a few years ago, was wondering if you had even heard of or been down there, if not, its beautiful, like a 60 ft waterfall, you can jump off the cliffs into the water, real neat stuff

I've always wanted to stop & hike down there... IIRC, the 2nd group of cars that were on the corner as we headed up the hill is where the trailhead is. I'll have to make a point of going there next year when the water level is higher. Have Jonathan post up his pics in this thread or give you the links to where they are and have you do it... I think it would be cool to keep all the pics in the same threads...
