Dodge vs Ford & Chevy
I will be heading to Cottonwood Cove next weekend with 2 of my buddies pulling our 5ths and a pontoon boat ( my buddies wife will drag that behind her Envoy). Anyway my truck is stock and my 5th is36ft andabout 9000lbs to 10000 lbs depending on the amount of beer I take[sm=icon_guiness.gif]. My buddy with the Ferd has intake and exhaust pulling a 32ft 5th at about 8500lbs. My other buddy has a Chevy with Banks on it and a 34 ft 5th. not sure on the weight but it has 2 slides so the weight is up there. We are all leaving at the same time, this may end up like (Cannon Ball Run)
I don't think we will get to stupid but it will be fun. However the Chevy makes me a little nervous, I will let you guys know how it turns out.

The Ford is a 6.0 and has had a few issues #7 injector rear seal, turbo, turbo oil line ( I had to drag him home on the one) to bad the batteries in the camera were dead
That is my Sand Rail that I just sold. that is the only pic that I was able to upload it kept telling me that the pic was to big even after I went to the help deal to shrink pics????? Any help would be appreciated
Drive normal and listem to your buddies trucks while going up hills. They will both be downshifting A LOT while you will be motoring happily along in OD. Then when they have to stop for fuel, you can just keep on rollin.

What kind of fiver do you have? I am looking into getting one that is at least 36', but the montanas we are looking into are heavy. My next truck will probably be a 3500 SRW to make the insurance company happy anyways
