My wifes little brother wants a desiel. Help me talk him out of the ferd or cheby!!!!!

Ford= fires, Chevy hd with ifs, That is a sick joke. Has he not seen your truck? That should be enough talk. You can also show him the numbers on comparable tuners and the horsepower and torque gains. Cummins always has a greater gain for the money.

I wouldnt put too much effort into it, he will buy what he wants, the best you can do is lay the facts out in front of him and educate him and let him make the decision on his own.

I thoght your b-n-law just bought a ford and it had a bolt in one of the cylinders or something?? maybe that wasn't you, I've been real busy lately and I'm having trouble keeping up.

let him do some reading up first. . .have him go to the ford and chevy sites to read up on all the issues, then have him run by all the dodge sites to read up on the issues. . .then ask him if he is willing to put up with the truck being in the shop more than his garage.

A friend of my dad just bought a new duramax a few months ago, he just got it back a few days ago after having the injection pump and 4 injectors replaced.
