Default Tips on filling front differential

Filled the rear one just fine, but had no idea on how I was going to fill the front one, don't have enough room to use a funnel. I'm sure a pump of some sort would work, but I thought I would see what tricks the rest of you use.

Buy the fluid with the pump is your best bet.

I put amsoil in my diffs and bought one of their pumps to do the job it was about $15 I think but only fits amsoil bottles. [&:] You can go to www.genosgarage.com and get one for about $10 that will fit standard quart oil bottles part # EZ-FUNNEL I can't imagine putting oil in the diffs or trans or TC without some kind of pump what a pita that would be!

I filled the front with the regular tall bottles of oil. It is a little ackward but doable.

You will be able to get the bottle just above level, so cut off just the very tip and squeeze the oil in like ketchup. Once you have most of the oil out of the bottle, cut a small hole in the upper part of the bottom and let the rest of the oil drain. Takes a few minutes, but it works.

Two words: turkey baster

Yeah, it's a pain and it's slow, but it was all I had on hand.
