Well ... I got it nstalllast night and all's I can say is

HOOOOO - LY $**T !!!!

I couldn't believe how much it woke up the truck. I had it set to level 1 at first and it didn't seem to make much of a difference at all. In fact, it kinda seemed like the truck lagged a bit. I then set it to 2 - better - onto 3 - OK, NOW things are getting interresting. The first thing I noticed is that now my boost gauge SHOOTS up to 25-30 lbs like it's nothing !! Prior to the install I was lucky to get past 19.

The truck definately seems more responsive. I haven't and I won't go past level 3 yet. I'm too scared. I think I kinda figured out the low boost settings thing. I think as you raise the setting it adds a little more fuel to the mix to help you get rolling along. I think that's how it works or what it does.

Am I right about the boost setting thing? Increasing the level also increases the amount of fuel at start up?

Also, what's up with that elbow that you screw into the turbo ??

It looks just like the one I took out, except one end is closed off and oly has a pin hole in it instead of being wide open like the one i took out. Is that the same as "plugging the wastegate"?

Will I hurt anything by installing that thing?

Is that why I'm now seeing the higher boost numbers?
