RE: Any 4WHEELER Riders????
YZF is the yamaha dirtbike or are you talking about the yfz450? i'm trying to figure out what bike you have because if your bike is a smaller bike like a 125 or something then mebbe yea it's a good trade but if you hvae a 450 then ehhh u know. If you have a yfz450 then heck no don't trade it the yfz450 outperforms the raptor IMO.
I don't have a raptor I have a 04 Grizzly 660 which runs off the raptor 660 engine and that thing is a beast. Cutter if you don't mind a utility I usggest the grizzly it's a very nimble utility and doesn't weigh near as much as the competition which is why yamaha doesn't make a 7 or 800 v twin they don't have the need. I can fly by the polaris 700's and the kawi and suzuki 800's without a problem and mine can jackstand wheely like no other try riding a wheely on a kawi king quad or is it suzuki king quad? I dunno all i know is they are just too big and bulky.
IMO that shows how yamaha's engineers are better they made a quad that is just as capable as any on the market, it's quicker, lighter, nimbler and yet will still do the same amount of work as the others. O and did i mention the selectable electric locker up front. which makes it easy to drive in 4x4 with Limited slip for inbetween tough obstacles but then at the push of a button boom you have locked up front and rear.
I've had the thing for 3 years now and i've only done routine maintence procedures and it has only not started once. which I attribute to sitting outside in sub freezing temps for about three days straight and then trying to start. all i had to do then was put it in the garage with the heater on it and then it came to life no problem. but that's an issue with almost all carburated big bore quads.

If you want a automatic sport quad the kawasaki will be the way to go. However yamaha has the best engineering imo. I had my Raptor660 and in the dunes I would kill most 450's with near equal upgrades. the problem is you get so freakin tired riding it as it is about 50 lbs heavier and that will take a toll, especially on trail rides.

As far as auto's go, I am not sure, I haven't owned any and have only ridden a few. I kinda like those new kawasaki Brute Force's though, they look freakin tough. As far as auto sport atv's go, I think your selection is limited to aKFX 700, maybe acouple others.
