Triton, check this out.
so one of my classes in my first semester at college is Classic Mythology and we are reading Hesiod's Theogony which basically is a huge overview poem of the greek god's and who's who know what I mean. well apparently the son of Poseidon goes by the name of Triton and he lives in a giant palace made of gold at teh bottom of the sea. and he has a conch shell that when he blows on it he can make the waves rise and fall and the sound is so terrible it makes giants fight each other. linky http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triton_%28mythology%29
I dunno I thought it was pretty cool figured i'd share it with everyone just cuz i can lol.

I wouldn't doubt it's what the boat maker had in mind when they named their boats. I have to admit, I got my screen name from my boat and not mythology...I shouldn't have admitted that though, you made me sound intellectual [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
No slight to you Ben, just me and Triton are a little "long in the tooth".

well I dunno about that movie but I do remember the series "sinbad" that was on way back in the day dunno what channel but usually was on around the same time as zena and hercules (yea hercules teh guy with unlimited strenght" Sinbad was like a pirate guy I just can't remember it all me and the old man used to watch it way back when lol.
