With the Cometic gasket are they running o-rings or fire rings with that? I meanif I have the wastegate set at 50psi andthe boost creeps past that a little it would be nice to know I'm safe and I don't want to do O-rings or fire rings.

 

I believe that Cometic HG is a bit thicker than the stocker so it can handle higher pressures.

 

So I went with the cometic, should show up the monday I get back to Grand Forks, that will be a fun project. I wish my truck fit in my garage. I might just take leave for a day and do it at the base hobby shop or something. How long do you think it will take to get the new in there?

 

not long, start in the morning, be done in the afternoon. . .but I would suggest atleast one other person helping. . .the head on thesethings are heavy
