nope, still running the same turbo. The EGT's easily hit 1500F but, once it shifted into OD, they started dropping. * disclaimer * DON"T run your EGT that high unless your truck is built to do so !

here's a couple stills my wife took. Sorry, they're mostly of my truck. As I said, I'll get some video's posted asap. You guys are gonna love the " Super Shockwave" !! The van pictured won the burn out contest. He roasted them until a tire blew which ended up breaking his mirror on the drivers door.

That van was a hoot. It was an old rust bucket, but had a mean engine in it. The guy goosed it while cruising through the pits and the front lifted up a bunch. I never did catch what engine it was.

I don't know but, I think the ting tings annoyed the guys that owns that truck cause as soon as he pulled up, he got out and lock the ting tings open.
After hearing them, I'm 100% positive I'd never want them. It was pretty annoying ! ting ting ting ting ting ting ting ting ting ting..... Phewwwww that get old ! I guess some people would like it though ;-)

I thought they only made the sound when the engine shut off. You're talking about the stack flaps right?Or do they close on shifts too?
