Default STRAIGHT-THRU EXHAUST

i've recently purchased a muffler delete pipe from Geno's Garage- the catylictic converter will stay in tact (for now), but i was wondering if anyone else whos installed this piece has had any trouble with too little backpressure.

I didn't buy the delete pipe but I did remove the muffler & had a piece of pipe welded in it's place. I also left the cat in place. I didn't notice a loss in power or mileage but some will say you'll lose a little of both. The sound inside the cab took me a little getting used to (wasn't too crazy about it) but the sound outside is great!I have to beg my wife to take my truck to the store just so I can stand outside & listen as she drives away!

Don't worry about back pressure. You've got a turbo to create plenty of that.

Since you're under there, cut the cat out now and straight pipe the whole thing. You'll be just fine.

Hey Mayfair I got my Aero put on a few weeks ago. At first I was a bit disapointed by how quiet it was but.... I hooked my stock trailer up and pulled it and it really sounds good under load. I think a straight pipe would drive "the boss/wife" nuts with the drone. 2 thumbs up for pimping the Aero!

I HAD the straight pipe as well until Barney Fife[:@] had to get his quota for August. Put on a Magnaflow and will replace with the Banks next year
