I got the commander in. pretty easy install.
got some questions.
what should I set my defueling and alerts for my boost, EGT and pressure if I install it.
also
for those of you that have a commander how does your water temp read.? Mine basically doesnt read.
also did you have any idling problems?
mine idled real high (1-1.2krpms)
this morning I got above 55 for ten miles and when I got to my destination the idle was back down to 700-800 rpms but ran rough. this is with my race module on level 0 (stock)
I'm hoping that when I get home after my 15 minute highway ride that it is better

as for my water readings on that commander they seem pretty dead on.... i beleive its around 175 all the time but i could be wrong, ide have to go check but the water reading is always around the stock gauge. as for the idle.... i do not have probloms w/ that, its gotta be somthing w/ that module because just a gauge wouldent effect anything, or atleast i would think?!?! how do you like it over all? does the size of it bother you?

I had some similar problems with my Quadzilla XZT. The tech support guy from Quad told me to add di-electric grease to all the connections and make sure they snap into place correctly. I did this last night and it idles smooth and runs great now. I got the grease at Advanced auto parts.

lol yea you better hope he dosent come in here and crash the party! but to add to yours, i LOVE my set up, but the only thing i was curious about on yours is the pre-programmed chip settings. when i bought mine it said it was good for just about any chip and i only have like 5-7 presets on my monitor with 3 of them being quadzilla products... i dont see no edge products. is yours the same?

I figured it out. the idleing problem and temp reading are the same issue. I went through and added dialectric grease to all the plugs and decided to leave it running and do the wiggle test on all of the connectors. the wire tap for the MAP sensor was bad. everytime I touched it it idled correctly. and when I went back to the cab the temp reading was correct. So I will have to connect it better tonight.
