I would hate to be the poor bastart who has to flop down the plastic to feed that beast:
"Fuel consumption at maximum power is 0.278 lbs per hp per hour (Brake Specific Fuel Consumption). Fuel consumption at maximum economy is 0.260 lbs/hp/hour.
Even at its most efficient power setting, the big 14 consumes 1,660 gallons of heavy fuel oil per hour"

Makes my mpg sould really good.

if memory serves me here. . .I believe our beloved ISB is around .43lbs/hp/hr

so that massive beasty is almost 2x more efficient than our engine.

I didn't say it wasn't effecient - - just that going through 1,660 gallons of heavy fuel oil per hour would suck

What do they use for lube, since it is a 2 stroke motor?
The thing has Journal bearings so it has a separate oiling system which is not a total loss system, unlike most smaller two-strokes (with total loss systems)that haveroller bearings that don't require as much oiling.
