frickin oil leak!!!

Default frickin oil leak!!!

I have a new oil leak on my cummins.

itll be $2000+ to replace the part alone. not including labor!!!

or $ 80 for a new rebuild/ gasket kit.....



the part???


vacuum pump where the shaft for the ps pump goes between....was told its not serious should be fine for a while. but should rebuild pump soon. [:@]

I'm pretty sure you can get the seal kit from cummins for about $10.

who wants to make a quick case o beer for the rebuild of the vac pump?!!?!?!?!?

Go to www.fixinrams.com, great kit, everything you need, the whole job done in about 3 hours. Kit includes 2 sets of seals, necessary tools, gasket, written instructions and a video that shows you how to do the job. Or send you pump to him and he will do it. I did mine and it worked great.

I also bought his kit and it works great. Don't buy a new or rebuilt pump to fix the problem, because it will more than likely have the same crappy seal in it and you'll have the problem again in no time.

A few sockets or open end wrenchs, a flat head screw driverand a hammer.
