With the new lifetime warranty on the light Duty stuff, Why doesn't Dodge bring back the Ram Charger????? They are forcing me to buy a Tahoe!!!!!!!!!

Isn't the Durango the new Ramcharger? Tahoe? Come on, any quad cab Ram or Dakota is better than a Tahoe, IMHO

 

get a 2500MC, have some fab work done with a campershell to make the truck into what a suburban should be

 

I just read something that Dodge was working on a V8 Diesel for the Ram 1500, but of more importance to this thread a V6 Diesel for the Durango....That might make a real nice rig!

 

They are already putting a V6 MB Diesel in some jeep models.

nope. . .Cummins has been working since about 03 developing and testing a 4.7L V6 and a 5.6L V8 for the 1500. . .and I can see the V6 being dropped into the durango.

Cummins does have a 1500 with the V8 in it. I read a review in TDR about it. . .guy said it would nearly catch the tires on fire from a dead stop. . .

 

Durango was not big enough. We test drove one and felt confined. At least I did not buy a Ford.
