Default I just cant pick.

Ok, so i own a 97 1500 4x4 5'5 fabtech lift 5.2L v8 gas burner. I just hit 85K miles, the truck before i got it has been run very hard, since i have got it i have put in a new transmation, new trasnfer case, new front coils new shocks new water pump, new sway bar's stearing comlb etc. So i have pirty much put more in to it then i payed for the truck. Now comes to my problom. I just feel the truck is a ticking time boom so i'm goin to sell it. Now here are my options. I can get in to the Priv acutions and get these 2 trucks *well the ones i want to get* Eather a 2000 Chevy tahoe 4 door, 4x4. 5.3L v8 with around 100K miles for about 9k-11K. Or *this is the one i'm leaning more to* a 2000 dodge 2500 4 door HD turbo dessal 4x4 with about 140K miles. for about 10K-15K

Now i know this is a dodge dessal fourms so it will be a bit on the dodge side. But i'm goin to collage soon so i want something that is strong and will last long so it hink the Dodge is the best way to go. What do yall think. and can u maybe give me some good tips on how the 2000 dodges are and stuff.

Which one can you really afford? I believe the Dodge would be the best for the long run, just my .02

in all honesty, if you are going to school, and only working part time, you need a vehichle that gets better fuel economy, and is cheaper to maintain. In otherwards, some little 4 cylinder car or truck.

Why do you feel your truck is a ticking time bomb with only 85k and a rebuilt transmission? You've got another solid 200,000 in her yet!
