I have one of the first generation of these. It reads everything I need for diagnostics.

Ok so I'm looking over the Injectronics CJ4 scanner/tool and the more I look at it, the more I like it. It has an option for activating single fuel injectors for testing purposes and cleaning purposes. the built in scope allows you to capture & analyize data and download it to the pc for archiving purposes. It's expensive if you get the pro pack, $720 from one of the companies that sells it. Think about it, your able to yank your injectors on your wifes ride and clean them the way they should be cleaned... open & close them with solvent going thru them. Capture o2 data with the scope functions... check the map sensor & tps sensors at the same time (2 channel scope) and save up to 10 screen shots.
damn, I'm really liking this tool...

I havent been able to find anything like that, it would be nice to check out.
NC... yes they read the codes and they also read all of the sensor data that is on the motor. One of them allows you to graph the data which can be helpful for finding faults that are intermittant.

There a few that you by a cable and the software is free. You hook it up to your laptop and you can do more than you imagined with the truck, even check specs while you are driving down the road.
