Before my Silverline, I just cut mine off right before the muffler. The exhaust dumped out right under the rear passenger seat. The drone was terrible. However, on my brothers old '03 he had the Geno's delete pipe and it sounded decent.

Straight Pipes are worthless in my opinion, you will lose horsepower and torque if your not planning on put a chip or programmer on. I have an 03 with a straight pipe and it sucks. I can tell the difference in power loss pulling a load on the highway and getting into it. Banks is awesome but you will spend too much money. I am getting ready to put a 4 inch turbo back system from magnaflow. Im getting it from Magnaflow for $400.Another thing on the straight pipe is, it gets annoying after awhile.

I got intake and straight pipe, and I can tell the added HP when pulling our stock trailer. I didn't notice any loss of HP when just straight piped, but my stock pipe is only 3.5 seems like most guys have 4in. or more
