What is the weight on the truck? The sticker on the door says 9000 lbs GVWR is that the empty weight or the max cargo + the truck?

 

thats number is the gross vehical weight rating, meaning thats how much it can leagaly weigh fully loaded. mine is a 98 ext. cab long bed and with a full tank of fuel and all my tools in my tool box it pushes 7300lbs just to give u an idea of about what it migh weigh

 

GVW9000 is the max weight of truck and cargo, I'm pretty sure. It weighs around 6840, plus the 2160 (cargo) is 9000lb. I weighed my truck/trailer it was 14,990 with the GTX in the trailer.

 

Same for me. 7700# empty. Full tank.

 

7500. . .but with a load of sand I think I'm closer to 11,000

 

Mine wieghed in at 7200 without me in it completely empty with a full tank.

 

I know I was pushing it with 11600 with that load of block, and 6 x 80lbs bags ofconcreat,that's why I wouldn't do it on the road, DOT would have loved me with that load

 

so what did the game warden say with the alligators you had

Dam you got a few nice one's there, they were all taged so I was covered, now if I had one without then it's a differant picture.

But do you know I never seen a game warden besides on the road in there trucks or ever had my fishing licence checked, maybe just lucky but it wouldn't have mattered I was legal, now if I let my fishing licence expire one day, that would be the day let me see it. LOL
