I know it's been a while, but i didn't think i was at a place be actually be able to purchase a cummins, but I might be, I'm tryin to buy a fairly cheap, not soo high mileage (relatively) cummins, any idea where i could make this happen (i've been checking out classifieds here and cumminsforum). What would you guys consider high milage? And what do you think I can expect for $9-12K?

You might wanna try Craigslist. I see decent deals on trucks quite often. In fact I was going to buy one from someone on there but it got sold before I could get there. SO I said "screw it" and bought a brand new one!

Ohh, i forgot to tell you guys that i'm a poor college kid, so anywhere i could find an amazing deal would be really helpful.

 

There is a nice 97 4x4 ext cab dually here in Piedmont SC for 10k. I think it has about 130k on the clicker. It is in Auto trader. I have seen the truck and it is pretty nice for the year.

 

Same here, looked for about 6 weeks and drove 8 hours to get her.
