on a stock turbo. . .no it wasnt. . .the thing made noises I never thought it would make. . .granted my boost gage only goes to 35psi, with the way the needle rose that is where I speculated it went.

 

makes sense..lol....after while ill end up getting a new turbo..like 20 years from now..when ever the money comes around for one..but for now since i dont haul anything msot of the time i guess im good with the 19 psi..

 

On yours you have a metal boost line going to the wastegate, give the guys at edge a call and see if they still have them plugs around for it.

well dude mine gets up to about 23 psi sometimes on level 3 but i never see higher than that, and i wont go past that level wise because i would hate to smoke my tranny right now since i have no money for a new one, i just spent like almost 3k on wheels and tires, and lift kit....

 

my 99 has boosted up to 30psi I belive, I only have the edge juice with attitude and an airraid intake

 

hey drew isnt 45-50 psi bad for these trucks? doesnt is like lift the head if you do it too much with out head studs?
