Steve isn't smok'n crack - - there really used to be a motor in my avitar I'm doing some updating
Here is what he was talking about:

This was the motor in my '89 Ram Charger (that I just sold: hence why the updates). It is a 360; bored 30 over - crank 10 under, polished & ported heads, Dough Thorley heders, RV cams...man I did all sorts of stuff on this baby. Froger used to call it the 'pissed off pumkin' cause of the paint job; but it ran like a raped ape

Today I was talking to a Big Rig driver, he has a cummins in his Volvo with over 1 million miles. As we talked during the unloading, we talked about additives. I showed him the Drew's brew and he showed me something that is supposed to be better and that he uses every time he fills up (300 Gallons). He told me that others he knows with the same engine run about 5 mpg, he gets 8mpg using this stuff. Keep in mind, he pulls a 53' trailer. Howes meaner power cleaner http://www.howeslube.com/products/in...category/10#20

Just thought it may help. He told me he gets better performance from this stuff than the Diesel clean.

Funny you should mention this.I read about it some where else and decided to give it a try. I picked up a bottle at a local truck stop. I used it per the bottle instructions and didn't notice any difference. Then I stopped using it and my mileage bumped up a little on the next tank (I believe from dillution). I decided to try it at half the recommended dose along with half the recommended dose of Lucas. My mileage jumped upabout 1.5 mpg. I repeated this next fill up and it creaped up a little more. The next fillup I added nothing and it fell about 1.5 again. BTW all the fillups were at the same station at the same pump, all the way to the top of the filler neck. I filled up Monday and added my "brew" again. Thus far it looks like I have picked up the mileage again (judging by the fuel guage and miles driven). I'll know for sure next week when I fill up again. Using this Brew I got the best ever mileage from a week of driving for work plus a trip to and from the lake towing the camperof 17.4 mpg. The same trip usually nets about 15.5 upto 16 at best. I'll keep you all posted. The mix is 2oz Howes and 5 oz Lucas to a fillup. These are about half the normal dose for each while taking on 30 +/- gallons.
