Stacks because they are sweet. But if it is two much for you do a cat and muffler delete and maybe put an aero in.

welcome to DF...

which motor do you have? the 5.9's work well with a aeroturbine 4040 where the cat used to be & I have a 30" magnaflow where the stock muffler used to be. like it alot. not sure what works best for the 6.7's...

w/o the aero, yes... dropped about 1~1.5 mpg. flowed like crazy though, egt's dropped significantly. turbo took longer to spool under part throttle conditions leading to the mpg drop. Not looking to build a 1/4 mile truck, I added the aero to slow the exhaust down some in hopes of bringing back some part throttle low end torque. works awesome. really happy with the exhaust setup right now and would recommend it.

So Steve you are actually running 2 mufflers now.
The aero replaced your cat, and stock muffler replaced with 30" Magnaflow.
Thanks for the advice.

Welcome to the forum bigty. I have the same truck, year and engine though mine's a dually. I have the MBRP system with the cat removed and straight piped. I like the tone of the exhaust, it helped with the EGT's flowing and price wasn't bad. I ordered from diesel manor, but a word of advice. Be sure to explain that you have the "Mega Cab". There is a difference from the quad cab system. Good luck on you selection...........................they're all good products.
