bigriver, they usually last about a year. I got about 400 lbs. of meat off that one, plus about 40 lbs of jerky which the kids went through in about a week! I talked to a guy who drove from Jackson Miss and killed a 350-360 class 6x6 bull in the muzzleloader season. If you want info on the hunts, Pm me.

rooster, I know what you mean about the people "going thru boxes" of ammo, I don't shoot unless I know it will go down immediately. I use a 7mm Rem Mag with Nosler 160 gr. Partitions

I bowhunt with a PSE Deer Hunter 55# draw weight with a 75 grain 3 blade mechanical broadhead. My rifle is a Ruger Model M77 7mm Rem Mag. I shoot a 150 grain bullet. It has a 3X9 scope. I also shoot a Ruger 20 gage over-and-under for birds. I'm anxious to get my 11 month old lab out in the field for the first time. I have 160 acres with deer, turkey, and quail in the eastern part of the Texas Panhandle.

pretty nice playground O4Qwathever

I loved when my black lab came whit me hunting, but unfortunately i had to shot him 1rst january this year,
he was 9 years old and since my baby was born he was kinda aggresive and he nearly bited off my right middle finger so i grabbed my 303 and headed for the wood whit him in a last walk....
that was the saddest day i had this year...
Damn i loved this dog so much... my other dog is really nice and i love her too but shes too big to stay inside house so she dont sleep at my feet like my lab did before

i bless snow for not having snakes around here...ok we may have smal snake called culverin but
even the biggest ones we play whit them as kids, they can bite real hard but they arent poisonous so u take them by the tail and swing them around lol

Usually people kill them on sigh but i like those little one,eat alot of rodent, mouse etc....
i also got bat in my attic,my wife fear them alot but they dont come inside and eat alot of bugs so they are friends
