for a first timers box it is a good box. . .things get quite advanced when you go with the hot upgrade.

Iam running the Edge "Hot" juice with attitude and it is unreal, I havent found anything to complain about yet and have run it for a year and a half now. Do not go with the "Hot" box until your tranny can hold it. Stage 3 on the hot box is what stage 5 was on the standard Edge. It is a night and day differance.
Sharx,
What is the "lowest" setting with the Hot Juice? Right now I effectively have 6 settings (0 through 6) with 0 being stock.
I am seriously thinking about getting doing it, but I still need to be able to turn it down to at least the "tow" setting.

Does anybody have any input, either positive or negative, on the Edge Juice/Attitude module in the 2006 4X4 Mega Cab with 5.9L diesels?
I have the Edge/Attitude and found that I get better fuel mileage with it on stock!! It's going back as soon as I can get time. The guages on it are nice though.

Besides risking damage to the stock transmissons, what other hits could occur from converting up to the hot program? I can imagine higher egt's, anything else. I'm guessing my transmisson could handle it, what do ya'll think?

I have an Edge EZ, their least expensive chip. I test drove several trucks before I bought the one I currently own, a 98 with a 24 valve. I noticed that the truck I bought had considerably more power than the other ones I tested. Turns out it had an EZ chip installed. The jumper on the chip was set to it's highest setting at the time. I have since set it back to the lowest setting. The highest setting was more power than I needed. Even though it is not the high end Juice - Attitude combo, I have been very impressed with this performance upgrade. If that is their least expensive chip, I would love to see what the Juice - Attitude can do.

You could also float the head if its not studded. Yes your tranny would be ok
