My 2007 Ram big horn 6.7L 4x4 costs me about $1300/yr with Allstate. But I also have my home and Durango with them which lowers things a bit.

It all depends on where you live. I sel insurance in CA and I know that bakersfield is the most expensive territory for insurance. Go 60 miles or so North to Tulare County cheapest rates in CA. Thats the largest factor in the insurance, how crowded it is in your area not how bad your record necessarily is.
