Default manual hubs

I am pretty close to saving enough money for the EMS manual hub conversion kit for my 2006 CTD. They have 2 kits, the 30 spline and the 35 spline. I am inclined to buy the 35 for some insurance but have been told that unless you are pulling heavy daily or offroading, the extra $200 for the 35 spline isn't worth it. What do you guys think and has anyone installed one of these?

The manual locking hubs disengage the wheel hubs from the front differential. On all current dodges, the entire front drive train spins as you travel. The lockouts disengage this front driveline. Even now when you are in 2WD, the front differential, hubs and front driveshaft spin when moving. With a lockout, like Fords, when you have the front selector on "free", it disengages the front hubs. The benfits are that you get better gas mileage because you reduce the drag of moving all the front end driveline. Switching to the older lockout system (eventually) reduces mantainance costs from less wear and reduced parts costs.
I like the idea of having more control over the truck. I also run a manual transfer case and manual transmission. My theory, and maybe wrongly so, is that with manual controls, there are less things to break.

yeah but his comp might be accurate while ours are AKA lie-o-meter.

I'm not sure if it's worth it or not for the 35 spline setup.... do you tow often or offroad much as suggested?
