Congrats and Welcome Aboard !!

I guess we'll be seeing you around these parts a little more often now huh?

Now that you are in the family, you are from this point forward forbidden to vote for anything other than a CTD in the Truck of the Month contest.

Best of luck with it !!

ok guys sorry its took so long to get pics. ive been really busy between my EMT class, and the fire dept and then school so i havent really been able to get online. i got pics but i dont know how to resize them to go on the forum so if yall wanna see the pics check out my myspace.

www.myspace.com/lumberton_john

now that thats taken care of, I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!!
my only complaint is its too quiet. i called around to some muffler shops today and talked to a few guys who specialized with diesels and they all said id problly have to wait til the first of the year to get exhaust on my truck. apparently even though the 07s had the 6.7 in them also, the 08s are the first years that have the 8 billion catalytic converters and all that good emissions bull crap, so they suggested i wait until more stuff starts coming out for the 08s because they didnt even know if it would pass inspection or throw codes if they cut the cats out. so if anyone here has an 08 that they have done any exhuast work on, please let me know exactly what it was you did, and how it worked out, cuz its driving me crazy not being able to hear my truck when i romp on it.

i also filled it up for the 1st time tonight...i almost cried...3 dollars for diesel, 34 gallon tank, it wasnt pretty.

good news is ive been averaging about 19 on the highway and 12-14 in the city and so far its only got 160 miles on it so im lookin forward to seeing what its like once it gets broken in some more.

sorry for rambling a little bit, but thanks for listening and im sure yall will see me around quite a bit now.

(BTW, check out the pics and tell me what you think. new tires might be coming soon)

Correct me if I am wrong, (Usually am), but I thought that someone had said that on the new 08s with the emissions crap, if you change the muffler it will void the warranty and cause the engine light to activate. Hope I am for all those with them.

Atta baby, another Lonestar. Welcome to diesel, from this day forward, every new truck you ever buy will probably be a 2500 Dodge Cummins.

got 3 new pics on my page of the truck down a dirt road...its funny i used to want a 4x4 to go muddin, but now that i have this truck, i flinched even taking it down the dirt road and then spent 3 hours washing it immediately afterwards.
