Default pump relocation

I've got a lift pump relocation kit waiting at home for me with a new pump. Just wanted some feedback if you guys have any advice or if it's a straight forward install. got the fp gauge too. Hoping I can carry the other pump and replace on the fly if I get into trouble on the road. Thanks.

what kind of pump did you get. . .if you got the same stock carter pump expect it to crap out quickly. . .if you got a FASS or walbro, Holley, or something else it will last a good bit longer.

I think it's just another factory pump. I was trying to make it easier to fix. on the road. Got the whole setup on ebay new and cheap. Once I'm sure this is the truck I'm gonna keep and get the scratch, I'll start with the mods.

I'd mount it on the frame rail back by the fuel tank and use some sort of quick clamps to install it. Similar to how Triton installed his.

Checked out Tritons setup. I think I saw something similar on the space shuttle. Pretty impressive. I got the idea, though. Thanks as always.

Get it as close to the tank as possible. these pumps are made for pushing fuel, not pulliing it!
