Default Was this a good deal

Howdy from the non diesel Dodge guys.

Well, my brother in law just bought a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Q-Cab 4x4 Lone Star edition with the cummins diesel. The truck has 27k miles on it and it came with this roll over hitch and a CAI. The exhaust had been replaced to though I didnt get underneath to see what all was done to it. It is definielty louder than a regualr diesel when you mash on it.I only saw it for about 10 minutes so im not sure if there were more modifications made but he purchased the truck for 31k. Wish I had pics but I dont carry my camera all the time. The truck is sure pretty and it made me want a diesel even more. I think he made a pretty good deal on it though considering I paid 23k for the my little 4.7L back in '05. Me thinks I got a bad deal there.

I feel bad for my brother in law though. He bought this truck and my Sis is the one driving it lol

Well, I got mine brand new on the dealer lot with 47 miles on it 5.9 liter CTD, Big Horn (northern version of Lone Star) 4X4 QC and I paid $31,500. Granted I got a helluva smokin deal, the interpretation I leave to you......

I got my 5.9Lback in February/March when they were havingtrouble moving them in San Antonio ... I got mine for $36k plus tax. All my paperwork including the window sticker says that it is the Lone Star package... but the badge says Big Horn. (But, that's probably going to be one of my next tasks, pealing that badge off.)

I guess that means that there isn't any difference in Lone Star or the Big Horn versions...

If he really wanted the truck and likes it, I guess it was a good enough deal for him
