I got hit by a flying stone the other day and have a nice sized ding on the windshield right in front of my face[:@]. Anyone know of anything at auto store to repair it or do you have to go to a windshield shop?

 

That just happened to me today. A rock came out from under a tractor trailer and bam, it hit right in front of me on the windshield. I don't know where to get the fix it stuff at either.

 

most of your auto glass shops do windshield repairs. call them you will have to make a trip by there shop it ussually take around 10 minutes for the repair.

 

Just keep in mind some of the ding repair places wont do it if its in your line of sight. Good luck

I bought stuff for like 9.99 at auto zone and fixed one the size of a dime on my wife's old jeep liberty.

 

We have those windshield repair guys working out of the back of their pickups at the flea markets... might check there if you have flea markets in your part of the country. They are usually right next to the velvet Elvis artists...
