And apparently that's all you need to be a ford diesel mechanic.
replace with engineer. . .. that should fix it for ya.

BTW, most of them would probably think that it is the piston that is sucking the air in through the turbo's and thats what causes boost pressure to build.
Isn't that what makes it whistle?

Yeah, after I reviewed my missed questions it was definitely a der.... moment. Duh, felt dumb for missing them

the ASVAB is the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, the last section of the "battery" is a mechanical and electrical skills knowledge timed test very similar to this.

How many opportunities do you have to take the asvab? Also, I am not in the armed forces (obviously) but have considered it a few times. I have an AS degree in architectural drafting. What would you army guys suggest I do?? and what would it be like for me joing now that I have a little school under my belt?

you take the asvab once. . .then in the army you have three times to take the AFCT(same thing as the ASVAB ony called something different since the individual is already in service)

after you take the ASVAB the score everyone will be most conserned with is the GT score. this will determine what 'jobs' you can get. if you score above a 100 you have a nice list, over 105 and you have two pages of jobs, 110 or better and you can do what ever you want. max score is 129.

as long as you are not over 42yo you can join up. been National Guard for a bit over 12 years. any schooling you have will help you A LOT when it comes to promotions. plus you can get tuition assistance when in the army and you can have most of your schools payed for with nothing out of your pocket.

Ok here is the question. I am usually a modest person, but for the sake of this question here it goes...I am good at what I do and I have alot of experience / skill in my field, and I know that the army would have a job for me that would utilize my skills, but how doI know that they will use me that way. I guess what I mean is, if I knew for sure that they were gonna have me in some type of engineering position I would join up in a second. It's not that I don't want to be on the front lines shooting and stuff, but rather that I know thatI would be able to be a bigger help sitting in front of a computer, know what I mean??
