Where can I pick-up a pair of tow hooks or recovery mounts for the front of my '99 2500 diesel 4x4? I was washing it this weekend and just noticed that there were none on the front of my truck! I couldn't find a place to hook a chain to under the front that looked solid or that wouldn't risk causing damage to something else. Parts / service can hook you up with the kit. It's 120.00 smacks for the hooks, brackets, and hadrware if I remember right.

..... or you could go to a junk yard and pull them off of a wrecked truck for pretty cheap, that is what I would do .

 

I dunno how easy that would be actually. Only once in a blue moon do I see a 2nd gen with tow hooks. I'm pretty sure they were an option anddidn't comestandard. I still have the brackets that GRI made me, but I have no luck with the hooks themselves.

opps.. I didn't know that, I guess I've never really looked. I see them on 3rd gens (around here anyway) all the time, but I can't say I've ever looked for them on a 2nd gen [sm=confused06.gif]hmmm.....
