Default My removable front reciever

Well its not finished yet but a few gussets in back and end caps on tube and of course a good paint job and matching set of clevises and it will be good to go. The nice thing is it is in three pcs. so you just pull the stock tow hooks and bolt on the two reiciever pcs. and pin it in. No pulling the bumper or any of that. Also note that I rolled the tube to the same radius as the bumper for a better look.

Yes I work in a fab shop and have been playing around with some ideas not sure how much or how many years it will fit I will work up a price when its done and let you know. I wanted a front hitch but didnt want to have to drop the bumper so this was what I came up with.

I'm sure you'll sell a bunch on here, I'm definitely interested. If your not sure on what years it will fit, just see what years a bull bar will fit for your truck since they mount to the tow hook brackets. You going to do any testing on it as far as strength?

Yes I will be trying it out this winter pulling people out of the snow with the clevis part and need a winch for the reciever a buddy at work has a winch I will use to see how she looks and we will pull a 12000 pound fork truck with the skidders on to see if it moves at all but I dont think it will should be pretty strong its all 1/4" wall tube and will have gussets in back when finished. Trust me if I can break it I will I will update you as soon as I get it finished and put new pics of it after I paint it and put the finishing touches.

Dude, VERY nice looking hitch there! You will have no problem selling them at all. How high off the ground is it to the center of the receiver? Powder coating would be the best finish for it too. Let us know on pricing when your ready.
