yes and yes. . .depending if you have emissions checks.

I bought my truck slightly used, but when I put on my mbrp catback, I got that new muffler burning smell just like all the other vehicles that i've owned and put exhaust on. Probably just the new wearing off

There is a lot of discussion about DPF/cat delete over at Cumminsforum.com. There is a company named H & S Performance thatrecently came out with an entire kit that includes a stainless pipe, plus a 'black box' that tells the computer not to go into regeneration and keeps it from throwing codes. I think the kit is $250. H & S does not have a website but you can e-mail them at hsperformance@hotmail.com
