Well with your setup you might consider headstuds and maybe a performance camshaft to help that thing breath better.

i saw his boost pressure get up to 41psi, and i cant ge mine to go over 23!
The waste gates on the second gens are set around 23-25PSI. Mine won't go over 24. My quadzilla commader will log the highest and lowest setting and it has never gone over 24.

40 mpsi you'll be fine with just headstuds. As for a camshaft, I'm not certain. I'm not used to dealing outside cummins for internal engine parts. Triton or drew might know though. I think ATS makes one but I'm not sure on that.

You can either plug the wastegate line or just go get an aftermarket turbo. If ya wanna outrun that 06 your gonna need a different turbo then the stocker. I plugged my wastegate and it does fine for now, but the turbo will get replaced with an aftermarket one down the line. Right now I'm getting about 35psi out of the stock turbo.

there is a small rubber line that go from the turbine housing to a little pot on ur turbo, this is the wastegate actuator, the line is about 8' long u cant miss it,just unplug the actuator side and plug it whit a screw
so this way ull be able to return to stock if u want to
