Hopefully, this will turn out... but here is an picture from 10 years ago or more in the Mountains. I took it with just a little disposable camera. I might have been 15 feet from him.

The elephant is called Kimba, and he is just on two years now. He is an orphan, his mother was killed by poachers. Drinks 36 litres of milk a day!

here is a link to a couple of my gorilla pictures.. http://picasaweb.google.com/chingoma/GorillaS

Fletch,

Is your '96 Dodge rhd. Would you mind taking a picture of the right hand drive and uploading so we can see it?

I'm afraid the 96 ram is LHD. Hence my wish to buy a new one and RH convert it with USA World Direct in New Zealand. The height of the Dodge means overtaking normal vehicles is easy...But overtaking a bus or semi.... highly dangerous. You need someone in the pasenger seat. A good thing though with the LHD on RHD roads...is that I can watch my trailor wheel's position on the edge of the road when I'm towing. A huge help when you are towing on narrow african roads...

Fletch -- you may have to buy a used vehicle to get around the residency thing. We sell a lot of cars to Candians here. They always have to buy used to get around the laws. Might be worth talking to them about. Heck a CTD w/ anything less than 40,000 on the odo isn't even broken in yet

I hear you.. I'm bashing my head here... although I bought my current Dodge from a Houaton Dodge dealer who exported it to me.. in 1996. So I figure that it can be workd out. The customizer buys them regularly.. so I'm going to ask him to do the buying once the truck is found....
It's kind of crazy though... any other country in the world - you buy the car and export.
