Default Fuel filter color

What color should the fuel filter look like` after a couple of weeks. Mine has agreen tinge to it, is this normal?

I suppose it depends upon what color the filter was before you put it in

My filter is a little black after 7500 miles when I change it while changing my oil. My filter is a paper brown when I put it in. I have never looked at it until the change out. If it is green I would say it is from the slight green tint to the fuel possibly.

doesn't most on road diesel have a green dye in it??? if so then yea urs would prolly be green
