Default What kind yall like????

Well, should be getting a decent amount of money off a sale pending this up coming weekend! My frist plan is to buy a yoter and put about 4 grand into it for a rock krawler to raise hell in and tear the heck outa! ( not a 10k rig like my buddys, but sometihng to go in)
The question I got, is what radio and speakers do yall like. I am thinking, Infinity speakers all the way around since my truck doesnt already have them. Then, A indash DUAL dvd player which I had in my old truck and loved! I am going to relocate my SIRUS radio to next to the dvd player...
what kinda goodies do YALL have in your rigs??? let me see some PICS

For the crawler check this out:

As for the stock Infinity speakers don't waste your time. The aftermarket Infinitys are good quality speakersbut the Dodge Infinity leave alot to be desired. I've had great sucess with Polk DB speakers. They sound great and don't power bomb your wallet!

I'm gonna go against infinity. i never really liked the sq that they had. IMO the best to get is probably JL audio. they are the kings of sq and good sounding stuff. I custom built a stereo in my Jeep that ran me right around 2g's mebbe more specs are
Polk MMC650 6.5"s in the sounbar
Polk MMC460 4x6"s in the front
Eclipse CD3100 h/u
JL audio E1400d amplifier
JL audio 12w3v2 sub
all Rockford Fosgate 4 ga wiring.

I love it it hits hard and sounds great. the polks are great speakers I recommend them as well. in fact if the truck you have fits 6x9's in the back which I think they do. I have a killer set of 6x9's that I used to have in the jeep that were barely used and still in great shape. they are very nice and just by looking you can tell they are made good.
i'll take pics of my entire set up and the 6x9's.

^^ as I posted a guy above me recommends polks lol. the db series is great as well not trying to be snoody but just puttin the facts out there that the mmc or championship series is a step ahead of their db's which the db's whuup *** so the mmc's are just insane

I don't think it really matters which way you go. Infinity, Alpine, JL, Rockford it all depends on your install how clean that is, how much power, how good your cables are. Thats what really makes the difference.

I've been hooked on panasonic decks since the one I had in my old 71 chevy. I put that thing threw hell out wheelin dirt, dust, mud, water ect and it still played just fine. Also having a bench seat, lots of crap would fly off the seat and hit the faceplate. No problems, when it came time to put a new deck in my dodge, I went back to panasonic. Now I just need a couple amps and some new speakers.

The thing about audio, is everyones ear is a little different and unless you are competing for SQ titles, I would go listen to a bunch of different stuff at different places and then buy what you can affor and sounds good to you. 99 percent of people would not know the difference between Sony Explod Walmart crap andJL Audio Seperates. not to dis any one particular company or another, JL is good stuff, as is Diamond Audio, CDT, Polk DB, MB Quart...I once trekked down that high dollar path, and although I lovedmy Diamond Audio stuff most people dont care, and couldnt tell the difference. So buy what you like or rather you like and can afford.
Would I do it again, knowing what I know now, I might go a different direction, but I love when the tweeters almost make your ears bleed...THAT KICKS ***!!!
