Default Check out this CTD in action!!!

For those of you who get mad about off topic crap, this truck runs off a 5.9 liter 12 valve CTD, this is a 5 ton m35 truck. The picture is a close up of the up-armored 13,000lb humvee that was very buried. Check this out, it was one a very few fun days in Iraq.

Well honestly.. It was a set of Air Force Combat Controllers, this mudpit was right outside of their office on the base. Their Lieutenant Colonel was there, he requested my assistance. I asked him that question. He replied. " Testing the limitations of their vehicle.." a bull**** response.. to which I amswered, " well sir, they found it"

The dumb bastards had to climb out through the turret cause the doors wouldn't open

LOL! I was there when that happened. That was some of our guys (my unit, not the people I supervise) that got a hold of a Security Forces Hummer and one bet the other that it wouldn't get stuck. I have pics at home of them all sitting on top of it with big grins on their faces like they had really accomplished something. They had no idea what that thing weighed. We all made fun of them for a long time for that. Last year was what I was told was the one of the rainiest years ever here. When the gound here gets wet, it turns into the thinkest, stinkiest crap you've ever seen.

That all happened about 100 yds away from where I'm sitting right now. I didn't see them get it pulled out it. Iwas at the end of my day and Ileft shaking my head.

umm. . .. thats not a cummins 400. . .it is a M939 5 ton truck yes, some have the Cummins NHC-250that one hasthe 6CTAA 8.3L rated at a measly 247hp, but it does use the P7100 pump and can be turned up quite a bit
