Default New hood company

Has anyone heard of this company for used their products?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...13845&rd=1

They look like a new company in Canada and the prices seem good, almost too good.

I would be very careful about ordering hoods off e-bay from companies like that... What sort of professional companyoperates out of a gmail account?

There is another company on E-Bay that sells clones ofother companiesfiberglass hoods that I've had to warn people about on many occasions. From what I've been able to gather from their ads, they're just some small body shop that decided to make their own reproductions of other companies hoods. When they first popped up, they were using photos of my truck plus a couple of others off my website and passing them off as sample vehicles for their products. I sent them a cease-and-desist nastygram via e-bay and they stopped using the photos, but they continued to try and sell the hoods. I still have their first e-bay name cached in a bookmark, they had something like 70% negative feedback because of poor quality, poor customer service, bad return policy (no returns to matter what), etc. It didn't stop them from selling bad products, they just keep creating new e-bay accounts every few months as the negatives pile up.

I'd also be really careful about this particular company just because they're using a stock SRT-10 photo from allpar.com, there's not a single photo of their own product to be seen.

Good points everyone. After looking at other prices, I thought it might be too good.

I would feinitely want to see original images and plenty of positive feedback before purchasing something like that basically sight unseen....

I'd run away from the item as fast as you can.

#1 0 feed back
#2 The description is in all caps with minor grammer errors.
#3 They just opened their account 2 days ago (November 26 2007).
#4They are a manufactoring company, but they don't take credit cards, have a real domain email or actual pictures of their products.
#5 $180 shipping, if you don't like it you can ship it back (in 3 days or less) at your cost and get merchandise credit.

These are all real big negatives ot me when I am eBaying.. I learned early to pay close attention when I got burned. It even more difficult to sel, because you have to make sure you are being very accurate in dscription and you spel out everything. I have made mistakes selling as well. I hate non-paying bidders and fake people, they suck.
