back-up lights
Yeah, I'm not sure where the switch is or what exactly it's called, but I remembered someone else here a while ago having a problem with the lights not going on and that was the solution, tapping into the switch / sensor / whatever it was.
i first found these in "dodge enthusiast" and the sample install was on a 3rd gen... it doesnt seem anything else is needed and it is as simple as it looks. you guys did see there is a separate harness you need that plugs in under the hood for ground and power, rught? only an extra 13 bucks. so on total just over 100. and i like these better than the farm lights besause absolutely no drilling for install, and much more clean looking.
I was looking for extra light when in reverse too and found a simple plug in for the 7-pin plug. It looks like a small flashlight and has a switch to change from "utility" (on all the time) or only on with reverse. It uses a low voltage halogen flood bulb. I got mine at Tractor Supply but was told you can get them at Pep Boys as well for about $30
