My son is havin problems trying to get his 04 3500 fixed! The dealer first said it was lift pump, (warranty -$100 deduct). Then dirty fuel tank (removed & cleaned). Then injection pump (supposedly replaced under warranty). Now they are saying it needs a ECM ($1800 +3 hrs labor @ $100 each!) Can someone direct me to a corporate or zone office for some assisstance? He has spent close to $600 and he now has more problems than he started with! Concerned Dad
I don't think a Cummins # would do you much good... it's D/C's warranty.
Did they say why he needs a new ECM and why you would have to pay if the other stuff was warrantied ? Are they guessing at the problems, maybe another dealer would do better...
